John Kelly and J.D. Thomas will present at AHLA’s annual event

John Kelly and J.D. Thomas will be featured speakers at the American Health Law Association (AHLA) Fraud and Compliance Forum, taking place in person and virtually from Wednesday, October 8, through Friday, October 10.
John Kelly will present “Self-Disclosure – Is Now the Time and What Will it Mean for Our Organization” in two sessions: Thursday, October 9, from 4:15–5:15 p.m. and Friday, October 10, from 11:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. He will explore best practices for voluntary self-disclosure, timing considerations, and how organizations can navigate potential risks while strengthening compliance programs.
J.D. Thomas will lead the session “Leveraging a Corporate Integrity Agreement for Organizational Improvement – Insights from Outside Counsel, Compliance Expert and Compliance Officer” on Wednesday, October 8, from 12:30 to 1:45 p.m. ET. The session will cover best practices for negotiating a CIA, preparing leadership and clinicians for compliance expectations, and using the CIA to enhance operational efficiency and align business strategies with compliance goals.
