Please join us for a presentation from Melissa Rix, Employee Benefits Compliance Specialist at Gibson.

Melissa will be presenting a benefits compliance update on the Consolidated Appropriations Act (CAA) and the Transparency in Coverage (TiC) rules created several new compliance requirements for employee benefit plans and added price transparency tools for plan members. Melissa will review current requirements, discuss new tasks for plan sponsors and consider strategies for coordinating compliance with insurers and third parties relating to:

• Machine Readable Files (Effective July 1, 2022, with updated guidance issued August 19, 2022)
• Prescription Drug Reporting (First reports due December 27, 2022)
• Online Price Transparency Tools (Effective January 1, 2023)
• Air Ambulance Reporting (First reports due March 31, 2023)
