• A childhood law firm “gym rat” who frequently visited my saintly mother (a legal assistant) at work 
• A bionic man – soccer and marathons hastened arthritis leading to a bilateral hip replacement at age 30  
• A townie –South Bend native and Notre Dame grad who returned home after a 10-year stint in Chicago
• Thankful to be married to Mary, a grade school crush turned life partner and best friend
• Never home alone, sharing space with six children, two dogs and two cats 
• Known to get dance parties started
• A kid at heart who enjoys biking, coaching, joking or playing with friends and family 
• Grateful for many deep, active friendships 
• Proud to be a part of Barnes & Thornburg
