A passionate and driven problem-solver, Alexandra Della Volpe is a healthcare attorney who provides counsel for hospitals and other healthcare providers. Alexandra prioritizes building strong relationships with clients and thinking creatively to solve the issues they encounter.

Prior to joining the firm full time, Alexandra worked as a summer associate and law clerk at Barnes & Thornburg. Alexandra also gained experience as a legal extern for the District of Columbia Public Schools and a corporate transaction legal intern for a pharmaceutical manufacturing company.

Before her legal career, Alexandra worked as a high school Spanish teacher in Memphis, Tennessee, where she spent two years with Teach for America.

At Middlebury College, Alexandra was captain of the varsity softball team and was an All-Academic Student Athlete.

I had such a great summer experience as a 2L with Barnes & Thornburg. At the start of the summer, I was unsure what type of law I wanted to practice, and by the end I found my passion. Barnes & Thornburg let me explore different practice groups and a large variety of projects, which really helped me find my strong interest in healthcare law. Everyone that I had the opportunity to work with throughout the summer was so helpful and welcoming, which made my decision to come back an easy one.
