Alexis helps companies solve a range of business disputes. She regularly drafts motions, briefs, and discovery requests and responses; performs research; and takes and defends depositions. She manages complex case files, coordinates with clients, and develops litigation strategy by analyzing case strengths and weaknesses, identifying key legal arguments, assessing risks and potential outcomes, and recommending tactical approaches at each phase of litigation. In the area of insurance coverage litigation, Alexis advises on virtually all stages of the dispute, from the initial legal analysis of coverage available under an insurance policy, to trial and appeal.
In law school, Alexis externed for Justice Charlie Bethel of the Supreme Court of Georgia, the State of Georgia Office of the Attorney General, and a multinational corporation. She also interned for the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
