As a member of the firm's Litigation Department, Amy Michelau concentrates her practice on drug and medical device litigation and commercial litigation.
Amy served as a summer law clerk in the Chicago office. Prior to joining Barnes & Thornburg full time in 2018, she was an associate at a boutique litigation firm in Chicago specializing in medical malpractice defense.
In addition, she gained valuable experience during internships at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago's office of the general counsel and at a disability rights and services organization located in Chicago.
While in law school, Amy was the executive director of student outreach and marketing of the Health Law Society.
