Caroline Dickey defends employers in litigation and agency proceedings while also helping them navigate more routine encounters related to the employer-employee relationship.
Caroline represents employers in a range of actions involving harassment, retaliation, discrimination, wrongful termination, and wage and hour claims, including class and collective actions.
Beyond litigation and agency representation, Caroline counsels senior management on day-to-day human resources and employee relations issues. These often include wage and hour compliance, disciplinary and performance counseling, reasonable accommodation, termination decisions, internal complaints and investigations, and employee classifications. She also helps clients make timely updates to company handbooks, policies and procedures.
Proactive and highly organized, Caroline anticipates clients’ needs and works towards outcomes that meet their goals. Keeping an eye on what’s around the corner, Caroline helps clients stay ahead of evolving labor and employment laws—particularly in California, where developments around worker classification and recent PAGA reform signal significant shifts. Her proactive approach ensures clients are not just compliant but prepared for what’s next.
