Over the course of his career, Chad has successfully resolved litigation involving millions to hundreds of millions of dollars in all three of Delaware’s top courts – the District of Delaware, the Court of Chancery, and Delaware Superior Court. A recent trial win includes a $31 million jury verdict in a hotly contested patent infringement and trade secrets case.
As a special discovery master in the District of Delaware, Chad holds hearings and writes opinions on issues ranging from motions to strike new infringement and invalidity theories to complex attorney-client privilege disputes.
Chad prioritizes service to others, handling pro bono cases for those in need. And because of his work representing a mentally ill prisoner in an Eighth Amendment case, he was awarded the 2021 Christopher W. White Distinguished Service Award by the Delaware Bar Association.
