Charlie has spent nearly 20 years working in the legal field, first as a practicing attorney handling taxation and litigation matters. He then transitioned to various in-house roles where he focused on assisting professionals navigate professional liability issues and insurance. He has spoken at numerous local and national conferences on the topics of legal ethics, practice management, and professional liability. His well-rounded perspective strengthens his ability to guide attorneys through nuanced legal and ethical issues.
As part of the firm’s Office of General Counsel, Charlie advises on a wide range of professional responsibility matters, including legal conflicts, ethical compliance, client intake, and lateral onboarding. He drafts and reviews conflict waivers, engagement letters, and outside counsel guidelines, helping to ensure the firm meets its obligations with clarity and consistency.
