Chelsea Vonu
Chelsea Vonu is a conflicts attorney in the firm’s Office of General Counsel. With several years of experience as a conflicts and ethics attorney, Chelsea advises the firm’s attorneys on complex conflict analysis, conflict resolution, and documentation of matter engagement. She also drafts waivers and reviews engagement letters.
Prior to joining Barnes & Thornburg, Chelsea was a conflicts attorney with national and international AmLaw 100 firms, where she gained experience advising on conflicts issues for lateral candidates and reviewed and negotiated outside counsel guidelines.
She also works with Barnes & Thornburg attorneys to implement any necessary ethical language in engagement letters and waivers, and communicates with clients and attorneys to obtain consents to specific waivers.
Outside of the office, you can find Chelsea skiing the Wasatch Front or in the ballet studio.
