With over two decades of practice spanning litigation, ethics, and business operations, Cheri brings a unique perspective to conflict analysis—one grounded in both practical litigation insight and a comprehensive understanding of legal relationships and loss prevention. Her experience includes advising on conflicts resolution, waivers, engagement documentation, ethical screens, and outside counsel guidelines.
Before joining Barnes & Thornburg, Cheri served as Ethics and Conflicts Counsel at an Am Law 200 Firm. Her legal career also includes the defense of clients in high-stakes insurance claims and construction defects matters across Colorado and Florida, as well as a leadership role at a startup engineering firm, where she oversaw operations, contracts, and corporate compliance.
Known for her calm, collaborative approach and sharp analytical instincts, Cheri plays a key role in supporting the firm’s ethical obligations and client service standards.
