Cony Rosas focuses her practice on intellectual property and guides clients as they aim to bring their inventions and products to market. She has experience in trademark clearance, registration, enforcement, and portfolio management, along with copyright litigation.
A former paralegal, Cony is a passionate advocate for her clients. Her experience includes helping draft Uniform Domain-Name Dispute-Resolution Policy (UDRP) decisions and responses, and to conduct research on trademark, patent, copyright, and trade dress.
Prior to joining Barnes & Thornburg full-time, she was a summer associate and a law clerk for the firm and drafted responses to U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) office actions, conducted research, and drafted memoranda related to IP and litigation matters.
Cony was a criminal defense, family law, and personal injury paralegal for firms in Chicago and Salt Lake City and, as a native of Mexico who is fluent in Spanish, was a volunteer intern for Latinos Progresando in Chicago.
