David Pryzbylski is a labor relations counselor and employment law adviser. David resolves legal challenges for employers, incorporating business strategies with compassion for the human elements of managing workforces. David advises companies in virtually every industry, including steel, healthcare, mining, grocery, telecommunications, construction, automotive, manufacturing, technology, retail and more.

Much of David’s practice involves assisting employers with traditional labor matters. His experience spans collective bargaining, work stoppages, arbitrations and union avoidance training and strategies, as well as union representation elections, unfair labor practice charges, contract administration. He has extensive experience with numerous labor unions around the country, including the Steelworkers, Teamsters, Sheet Metal Workers, Longshoremen, Boilermakers, CWA, UFCW, UAW, IAM, IBEW, BTCGM, SEIU and trade unions such as the Carpenters, Pipefitters and Laborers.

Maintaining a well-rounded practice, David provides the full range of employment services. He defends employers in class/collective actions and individual cases. His representation spans alleged wrongful discharge, discrimination, retaliation, harassment and wage-related claims. He also resolves breach of contract and claims regarding worker classification. David also defends clients in class actions and high stakes qui tam actions, often initiated by current or former disgruntled employees and brought under the False Claims Act by government agencies and the Department of Justice.

As a proactive counselor, David also provides clients with daily advice in both the employment and labor context. This portion of his practice involves reviewing and drafting employment policies, conducting training on issues spanning the labor and employment spectrum, and otherwise advising clients when complex employee-relations issues arise.

Beyond his practice, David is a prolific and nationally recognized thought leader on labor relations. David’s commentary and insights are featured in leading publications like Bloomberg, the New York Times, Law360, Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM), and others. He also has been featured on podcasts and national media programming like the Fox Business Network. The National Law Review recognized David twice with its national Go-To Thought Leader Award in recognition of his extensive work on this front, including in its inaugural edition.
