Emma Ray focuses her practice on defending and counseling manufacturers, distributors, and sellers of medical devices, pharmaceuticals, and other consumer and industrial products.

Emma is diligent and detail-oriented in her work, tackling complex and nuanced product liability claims presented throughout a case and during settlement negotiations. Emma prepares detailed litigation strategies and handles virtually all aspects of case settlement in order to obtain the best relief for her clients. 

Prior to joining the firm, Emma worked for a Chicago-based litigation firm, where she managed several cases from inception to trial, including drafting discovery and pleadings. She also advocated for her clients’ in front of judges and arbitrators in state court, federal court, and the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Commission. 

Emma’s litigation experience leans on defending employers and insurance companies in various legal issues involving premise liability, toxic tort, and general tort litigation.

As a law student, Emma gained experience at the Zeke Georgi Legal Clinic, where she advised on domestic violence and family law matters.

Emma also was a Division I softball player and All-America Scholar Athlete while in college.
