Paralegal Erin Matheson assists clients with a range of commercial business disputes, intellectual property litigation and patent infringement matters. She is a detail-oriented team player, who is relied upon by her attorneys to provide valuable assistance in virtually all phases of state and federal litigation.
Erin prepares for and assists during depositions, hearings, trials and arbitrations, particularly with document management such as creating tracking spreadsheets, case profile summaries, and chronologies. She also drafts motions, summarizes depositions, and performs jury verdict analysis.
Notably, she coordinates assembly of exhibits and appendices for pleadings, witness and expert preparation materials, and deposition and trial exhibits.
With nearly 25 years of paralegal experience, Erin works well under pressure and enjoys working behind-the-scenes to ensure that her attorneys have all the necessary materials at the ready to defend their clients during negotiations, at trial or on appeal.
Prior to joining Barnes & Thornburg, Erin was a litigation paralegal in Boston with Nutter McClennen & Fish and with the former Rubin, Hay & Gould.
