Evan Kennedy represents clients in virtually all stages of commercial real estate. His practice focuses on the acquisition, disposition, development, leasing, and financing of properties in a variety of commercial real estate sectors. Evan also represents clients in the renewable energy sector, including in mergers and acquisitions, site control, surface-use agreements, and easements and ground leases.

Evan represents and advises clients in a wide range of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, and leasing of retail, office, hotel, industrial, mixed-use, and multifamily commercial properties. He has also worked in the development space, with a focus on industrial, student housing, data centers, and energy infrastructure.

In addition, Evan has worked with clients on renewable energy projects, providing real estate insight on project development, site control, due diligence, and title curative measures. As part of his practice, Evan regularly performs due diligence reviews of title, surveys, zoning reports, and property condition reports. He also has experience representing clients’ interests in general business matters.

Prior to joining the firm, Evan was a judicial extern for the Honorable Chief Justice Loretta Rush of the Indiana Supreme Court. He also gained experience as a summer associate at Barnes & Thornburg and as a law clerk for another premier Indianapolis law firm.

Evan was team captain and a four-year letter winner of the Purdue University baseball team, earning Academic All-Big Ten honors.
