Garrett Scott Llewellyn
Garrett Llewellyn is a first-chair trial lawyer valued by large public and private companies across the country for his aggressive and innovative litigation strategies. Garrett handles both complex commercial litigation and class action matters. He works to efficiently resolve disputes for clients spanning industries such as retail, hospitality, sports and entertainment to healthcare, financial services, real estate, automotive, technology and telecommunications.
Defending clients in high-profile disputes, Garrett’s experience includes breach of contract, unfair competition and similar business torts, breach of fiduciary duty, Business and Professions Code 17200, the California Consumers Legal Remedies Act (CLRA) and other consumer protection statutes, and consumer fraud.
Recent highlights from Garrett’s work include prevailing as first-chair trial counsel and obtaining a complete defense verdict in a $250 million dispute between an international retailer and its former vendor, defeating class certification for an international automobile manufacturer in a nationwide vehicle defect class action filed by 43 plaintiffs from 23 states, and prevailing as first-chair trial counsel in a six-figure dispute against a commercial real estate holding company and lessor.
