Prior to joining Barnes & Thornburg, Heather McBride was a senior litigation paralegal with a plaintiff’s personal injury law firm where she handled virtually all aspects of personal injury, medical malpractice and wrongful death cases, from preparing and filing pleadings in state and federal courts, discovery, and medical review panel submissions to research and negotiations.

A highly motivated paralegal with 15 years of experience, Heather assists attorneys with case management of pre-litigation and litigation cases from initial intake to final resolution.

Heather has deep experience in reviewing and analyzing medical records and subrogation liens related to Medicare, Medicaid and ERISA claims. In addition, she has probate experience handling estates and guardianships in wrongful death and minors claims.

Heather is a notary public, which can be of help to firm colleagues and clients alike.
