Jack O’Rourke provides strategic advice and representation to corporations, associations and issue-based coalitions as they deal with government and legislative entities. Jack takes a personal interest in the clients he represents and is appreciated for his dedication to serving as a trusted adviser with a strategic eye toward their businesses and goals.
For more than 30 years, Jack has represented clients on a broad range of matters on Capitol Hill in the areas of taxation, financial services and banking, international trade and investment, telecommunications, patent and trademark, and international business operations.
Jack previously served as Vice President and Legislative Counsel for a major trade association of more than 600 securities firms, including investment banks, broker-dealers and mutual fund companies active in U.S. and foreign markets and in corporate and public finance.
Prior to entering the private sector, Jack worked in Congress and in the executive branch. Jack worked on Capitol Hill as a professional staff member in the office of Rep. Ed Bethune and on the minority staff of the House Banking Committee. He also gained experience as an economist at the U.S. Department of Labor.
