He brings over four decades of experience to advising on creative solutions to complex IP problems, as well as to data and technology-related agreements. Jason's practice revolves around inventions, innovations, and information security, with a keen focus on privacy matters and agreements.

Jason’s multifaceted approach to realizing client objectives is manifested in his track record of delivering tangible benefits to clients across various industries. From startups to established companies, Jason's strategic guidance frequently minimizes data security risks and maximizes IP protection. His proactive advice in risk management and data security incident response helps clients stay out in front of the pack across the ever-evolving digital landscape.

With over four decades of earned experience in law and business, Jason navigates the legalities of patent, trademark, and copyright protection. He negotiates critical technology agreements with the goal of ensuring client innovation and data is properly leveraged and protected. He is skilled in advising on the IP of medical devices, chemistry, pharmaceuticals, and software – providing tailored solutions for each client's unique needs.

Beyond IP protection, Jason excels in data privacy compliance and cybersecurity incident response. He guides clients through complex regulations such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), and other data privacy laws, developing robust policies and procedures. His in-house experience as a business development director and general counsel adds a practical, business-oriented perspective to his private practice today.
