Jenna Johnson defends major domestic manufacturers and distributors in medical device, pharmaceutical, and consumer product litigation across the United States. She also represents both plaintiffs and defendants in complex commercial litigation, handling business disputes such as contract actions, employee restrictive covenant disputes, and trade secret misappropriation in Texas.
Jenna dives in from the start, crafting strategic litigation plans tailored to her clients’ needs. She drafts clear and compelling briefs, from discovery motions to dispositive motions. She also manages written discovery, document productions, and conducts depositions, always focusing on the ultimate objective. Among a select few of her many successes, Jenna drafted a winning briefing that resulted in the complete dismissal of product liability and breach of implied warranty claims, was part of a trial team that secured a defense verdict in a product liability trial, and obtained summary judgment for an individual investor in a fraud and breach of contract suit.
Staying at the forefront of her field, Jenna regularly shares her experience through presentations and writings on medical device defense and trade secrets. She is also an active member and contributor to the State Bar of Texas’s Trade Secret Committee.
Before joining Barnes & Thornburg, Jenna worked at another AmLaw 100 law firm, handling breach of contract, fraud, and fiduciary duty disputes. During her time at Texas A&M University School of Law, she interned for the Honorable Renee H. Toliver. Prior to law school, Jenna worked in New York in television news production for a major news network.
