Jimmy’s multidisciplinary background across corporate, entertainment and real estate matters enables him to provide clients with a comprehensive perspective on complex business transactions. His experience spanning traditional corporate work and cutting-edge entertainment industry challenges equips him to deliver innovative solutions that address both immediate transactional needs and long-term strategic objectives. 

Jimmy is actively involved in the firm’s Entertainment practices, where he assists with film and television financing and development deals. Working alongside experienced partners, he reviews and structures agreements that support independent producers, production companies and financiers throughout the life cycle of a project.

In his corporate practice, Jimmy concentrates on mergers and acquisitions, with particular experience leading the preparation of disclosure schedules and coordinating diligence for private equity transactions. He also supports fund formation and investment work, including in the aviation sector. 

Jimmy’s real estate work includes reviewing and negotiating commercial leases and purchase agreements, often in connection with larger transactions.

Before joining Barnes & Thornburg full time, Jimmy was a summer associate at the firm. He also clerked with the UCLA Veterans Legal Clinic, where he advocated for clients seeking VA benefits, expungements and financial relief.
