Real estate and corporate attorney Kailey Grant focuses her practice on negotiating and closing a wide variety of real property and business-related transactions. She represents a diverse base of public and private companies in an array of corporate, real estate and financing matters.
Kailey advises on various corporate transactions and matters, including corporate formations, corporate governance and compliance, financing, and asset, stock, merger and reorganization transactions.
A dedicated and driven practitioner, she also assists clients with the leasing, acquisition and divestiture of commercial, industrial, retail and residential properties, including title and survey issues.
Kailey also has experience in the renewable energy industry, including assisting a client with the acquisition of a large portfolio of solar project companies and providing corporate and real estate diligence support in various acquisitions and divestitures of energy-related assets.
Prior to joining Barnes & Thornburg full-time, Kailey was a summer associate in the firm's Chicago office. She also gained valuable experience as a law clerk for the Family Defense Center in Chicago.
In law school, Kailey was a member of the Women's Leadership Coalition and the Student Funded Public Interest Fellowships Program.
