Kit’s practice spans a wide range of litigation matters, where she supports clients in navigating discovery, drafting persuasive motions and briefs, and analyzing case strategy. She thrives in distilling complicated legal and factual issues into straightforward solutions, helping clients make informed decisions in high-stakes situations.
Kit brings a diverse set of legal experiences to the firm. Prior to law school, Kit worked as a paralegal at a New York law firm, working on large, complex litigations. She also worked in-house as a paralegal at a large entertainment company, assisting the litigation practice group with matters across legacy divisions. During law school, Kit gained additional experience as a judicial extern for two judges in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
Kit also brings a global perspective to her work, having worked at the United Nations prior to law school, served on Loyola’s International Law Review, and participated in Loyola’s Willem C. Vis Moot International Commercial Arbitration team. She uses this experience, and her background in Anthropology, to offer creative responses to evolving problems.
Prior to joining Barnes & Thornburg full-time, Kit was a summer associate with the firm.
