Kelsey Vincent is a passionate, inquisitive, and motivated litigator who focuses her practice on advising providers and hospitals on a wide variety of healthcare matters, including government investigations and claims.
Kelsey is well-versed in drafting motions, responses, replies, and memoranda for complex civil litigation matters. She is also skilled at performing extensive research on state laws and court procedures to file motions, writs, notices, and complaints in various jurisdictions. Kelsey has experience attending hearings and arguing motions on behalf of clients in state court.
Prior to joining Barnes & Thornburg, Kelsey was an associate attorney at a firm in Washington, D.C., representing clients in complex civil litigation matters and was a law clerk.
In law school, Kelsey interned with the Environmental Protection Agency in the Office of Enforcement and Compliance Assurance.
While an undergraduate, Kelsey was an NCAA Division III lacrosse player at the University of Mary Washington, twice competing in the NCAA tournament.
