A former labor and delivery nurse, Lori has almost a decade of clinical experience and has been a nurse paralegal for more than 15 years. She understands medical and nursing standards of care, and various medical procedures, medication administration, medical pathologies, and medical terminology, and uses this knowledge to inform attorneys as a trusted consultant.

Notably, Lori is skilled in medical record analysis, medical record summaries, creating timelines, and medical chronologies. She supports attorneys with medical research in preparation for general litigation, expert depositions and trial.

Prior to joining Barnes & Thornburg, Lori was a nurse paralegal at a Tennessee-based law firm. In that role, Lori supported cases primarily involving birth injuries.
