Patent Agent

A patent technical specialist, Dr. Marley Brimberry works with attorneys and clients on matters involving many areas of intellectual property law. Marley offers over a decade of research experience with a targeted interest in enzymology, molecular biology, enzyme engineering, protein X-ray crystallography and various biotechnologies.

A lifelong learner, Marley has trained across many sub-disciplines within life sciences and chemistry. She understands a wide variety of techniques  used in client technologies and their resulting patents.

Marley assists with virtually all patent matters, including reviewing, editing and drafting applications, conducting searches and responding to formal actions.

Prior to joining the firm, Marley was a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Michigan, where she engineered enzymes in chlorophyll metabolism, a key molecule involved in plant photosynthesis.
