Megan Krivoshey focuses on commercial litigation, including contract disputes, business tort actions, and drug and medical device litigation. She represents a variety of businesses, including Fortune 500 companies and major pharmaceutical companies, in resolving civil litigation disputes. She also advises privately owned companies and nonprofits in small-business matters.

A partner in the Chicago office, Megan’s dispute resolution and litigation experience ranges from the initial filing of the claim through trial. She advises clients on litigation strategies to help them minimize or avoid potential liability, while simultaneously remaining a fierce advocate for them in the courtroom.

Megan is committed to understanding each client’s needs and objectives to achieve the best solution for that client. She strives to remain organized and responsive to ensure that projects and cases are handled effectively, skills valued by both clients and colleagues. Megan is also known for her writing and research abilities, and she has experience drafting motions and memoranda that persuasively articulate legal arguments.

Prior to joining Barnes & Thornburg full-time, Megan served as a summer law clerk in the Chicago office. She also gained valuable experience as a judicial extern for Justice Mathias Delort of the Illinois Appellate Court, where she drafted judicial opinions.
