With over a decade of experience, Michael focuses his practice on the equity and transactional aspects of commercial real estate. He regularly represents clients across a wide range of asset classes, including office, industrial, hospitality, multifamily, mixed-use and self-storage properties. His work focuses on structuring joint ventures, drafting partnership and operating agreements, and developing capital formation strategies targeting real estate assets. He works with a broad range of clients spanning sponsors, developers, investors, private equity funds and institutional investors.
Prior to joining the firm, Michael was a partner at an Am Law 200 firm in Atlanta, where he was a member of the Real Estate Private Equity and Funds practices. He advised sponsors and developers on all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, with a particular emphasis on structuring equity investments.
