Noel Gordanier supports Barnes & Thornburg’s intellectual property and patent matters. Noel assists in virtually all aspects of the patent prosecution process.
Noel’s training and background in software engineering and industrial technology allows him to concentrate his services on protecting computer software and hardware innovations. His technical knowledge includes artificial intelligence, robotics, audio processing, computer graphics, telecommunications, computer security and blockchain technologies.
As a skilled patent agent, Noel conducts detailed analysis and, coupled with his industry experience, offers clients a heightened sensitivity to the underlying challenges often faced in computer-related intellectual property matters.
Prior to joining the firm, Noel served as technology specialist and patent agent in Minneapolis at a global IP firm. He also has industry experience in software development, quality assurance and manufacturing.
