Oliver McClymonds aims to find actionable solutions to complex litigation issues for a wide array of industry clients. Oliver helps clients determine the best path forward for their litigation matters through pretrial preparation, including conducting research and discovery, drafting pleadings, and drafting motions. 

Prior to joining Barnes & Thornburg full time, Oliver was a summer associate with the firm. He gained experience with depositions, motion writing and trial preparation.

While in law school, he was an intern for the Honorable Larry A. Burns of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California and for the California Attorney General’s office in the Appeals, Writs and Trials section. Through these experiences, Oliver gained practical advocacy skills that continue to enhance his legal practice.

As an undergraduate, Oliver was a Division I collegiate water polo player at Bucknell University. Outside of his legal practice, he enjoys spending time in the water, including surfing, swimming, and coaching youth water polo.
