Focusing his practice on corporate matters, Otto Frenzel is a passionate advocate for the clients he serves. Trained and experienced in problem-solving and accustomed to working in a fast-paced and high-stakes environment, Otto calls upon his experience as a U.S. Marine Corps judge advocate to provide timely, accurate and focused counsel to his clients.
Otto advises companies and their shareholders on a range of corporate matters, with an emphasis on mergers and acquisitions. He works to develop a deep understanding of his clients’ business and provide actionable counsel with a view to further their M&A and transactional objectives.
During his four years with the Marines, Otto gained valuable experience in risk management and attaining a workable solution for the issues his clients faced.
Prior to joining Barnes & Thornburg, Otto served many roles as a judge advocate, including trial counsel, defense counsel, and deputy staff judge advocate. He advised both commands and individual Marines on the best course of action for their legal issues.
Born and raised in Indianapolis, Otto is an avid Indianapolis sports fan who looks forward to serving both the community and clients.
