Ryan is a skilled litigator who has defended companies in a broad range of commercial and product liability litigation matters, particularly Fortune 500 companies in consumer class actions, multi-district litigations, coordinated proceedings, and product liability cases in federal and state courts nationwide.

Ryan has managed cases through virtually every stage of pretrial litigation and trial preparation, including drafting and arguing dispositive and critical motions, preparing and defending witnesses at deposition, and coordinating litigation strategies across defense groups in mass tort litigations. He has also successfully represented clients in different alternative dispute resolution processes, including settlement conferences, arbitrations, and mediations.

Prior to joining Barnes & Thornburg, Ryan was an associate at an AmLaw 200 firm representing product manufacturers in both state and federal courts.
