Samantha DeRoos is a dedicated litigator, valued for her tenacity and attentiveness. She works on a wide array of litigation matters including commercial litigation, white collar defense, employment litigation and products liability defense. She also has experience conducting internal corporate investigations, employment investigations and corporate compliance reviews. With her experience, Samantha is able to address client needs fully yet efficiently.

Samantha is skilled in trial preparation, including consulting with witnesses, taking and defending depositions, and preparing witnesses and experts for trial testimony. Additionally, she assists in drafting legal memoranda, motions and briefs.

Prior to joining Barnes & Thornburg, Samantha practiced with a boutique Columbus-based firm, where she served as lead counsel on multiple bench and jury trials, argued before numerous Courts of Appeals, conducted a variety of contested pre-trial hearings, and practiced in over 30 courts throughout Ohio.

Samantha also served as a legal intern at the Franklin County Prosecutor's Office, where she gained valuable insight into the criminal justice system, which she employs to provide comprehensive defense to her current clients.
