Susan Haag is Director of Internal Initiatives at Barnes & Thornburg, where she leads the strategy and execution of firmwide internal meetings, retreats, summits, and other professional programming including the firm’s Racial + Social Justice Foundation.

With more than 40 years of legal industry experience, she creates high-impact, culturally aligned initiatives that support the firm’s people and priorities. Susan joined the firm in 1998 in the South Bend office and relocated to the Dallas office in 2020.

Susan has held various positions at law firms in Pennsylvania and Indiana for over 40 years. She attended Penn State University and is a certified paralegal. She completed the University of Notre Dame Mendoza College of Business Supervisory Development Program and is a graduate of the Leadership South Bend/Mishawaka program. Susan is a member of the Legal Marketing Association and serves as membership chair for the southwest chapter.
