This session will address export jurisdiction and classification for defense and “dual use” items; COTS export control concerns; license requirements, exemptions, and exceptions; deemed exports and employment practices; ITAR registration and compliance programs; screening transactions, red flags; and violations, disclosures, and enforcement.

Advanced Export Controls - ITAR and EAR
This session will address Russia- and China-specific controls; commodity jurisdiction and "specially designed" analysis; EAR Military End Use/User rules; Controlled technical data, deemed exports, and encryption; EAR de minimis and foreign direct product rules; U.S. sanctions screening and M&A due diligence; and voluntary disclosure and compliance best practices.
This in-depth training will ensure participants are well-versed in both foundational and advanced aspects of export controls, preparing them for a range of compliance challenges in international trade.
